The Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State (LatinPontificia Commissio pro Civitate Vaticana is the legislative body of Vatican City. It consists of a president, who also holds the title of President of the Governorate of Vatican City State and serves as the head of government of Vatican City, a landlocked sovereign country,city-statemicrostate, and enclave surrounded by, and historically a part of, Rome, Italy.

Fernando Vérgez Alzaga L.C. (born 1 March 1945) is a Spanish and Vatican prelate of the Catholic Church who has been President of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State and President of the Governorate of Vatican City State since 1 October 2021. He was Secretary General of the Governorate of Vatican City State from 2013 to 2021 and before that director of the Vatican City State Telecommunications Directorate.

Giuseppe Petrocchi (born 19 August 1948) is an Italian Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of L'Aquila from 2013 to 2024. Pope Francis made him a cardinal on 28 June 2018.

Stanisław Marian Ryłko (born 4 July 1945) is a Polish Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He held positions in the Roman Curia beginning in 1987 and was president of the Pontifical Council for the Laity from 2003 to 2016. He was made a cardinal in 2007. He has been Archpriest of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore since 28 December 2016.

Leonardo Sandri (born 18 November 1943) is an Argentine prelate of the Catholic Church who has been a cardinal since November 2007 and vice dean of the College of Cardinals since January 2020. He was prefect of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches from 2007 to 2022. He served in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1974 to 1991 in several overseas assignments, including as a permanent observer of the Holy See before the Organization of American States from 1989 to 1991, and in Rome as Substitute for General Affairs in the Secretariat of State from 1999 to 2007.

Arthur Roche (born 6 March 1950) is a British cardinal of the Catholic Church who has served as prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments since 2021. He previously served as secretary of the congregation from 2012 to 2021.

Mauro GambettiOFM Conv. (born 27 October 1965) is an Italian Catholic prelate who has served as archpriest of Saint Peter's BasilicaVicar General for the Vatican State, and president of the Fabric of Saint Peter since 2021. He was consecrated a titular archbishop on 22 November 2020 just before Pope Francis raised him to the rank of cardinal on 28 November 2020.

Raffaella Petrini, FSE (born 15 January 1969) is an Italian Catholic religious sister who has served as Secretary General of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State since 2021. She is the first woman to hold the position and one of the highest-ranking officials at the Vatican. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.
